Over the last couple of weeks, people have been asking me more and more,

“Ash, what will the New Moon Eclipse in Scorpio mean for me?”

And in order to answer that question, I always begin by saying,

“In order to understand what this eclipse will mean for you, you have to look at what has already happened in this story.”

• Tuesday, October 25 2022: New Moon Partial Solar Eclipse at 2° Scorpio
• November 8, 2022: Full Moon Total Eclipse at 16° Taurus

But for even more context, we have to look back to when the North and South Node were in Taurus. There were eclipses in Taurus and Scorpio these years, and similar themes to what happened then are likely to come up now.

What was happening in your life in between 2013-2014? How about 2003-2004? How do you see similar things happening in your life now?

Eclipses always tend to coincide with transitions big and small. Transitions of all sizes test our desire to control what's happening in our life and our ability to adapt and go with where the energy wants to flow.

With this energy, I'm personally drawn to Lepidolite for support, which is a mineral that I tend to think of a lot when I'm thinking about Virgo energy, or anyone who has very high expectations of themselves. These are people who are very detail oriented and want to get everything right. Because of that they can be very focused on what's not working, which is what allows them to create such amazing things. It's because of their ability to notice what's not working that they are able to hold themselves to such high standards. But it can also be so exhausting to be looking for what's wrong all of the time. It's a useful stone when we're meeting and exploring our inner critics  and to releasing self-worthiness wounds.

Releasing and Exploring the Seeds of Self-Doubt During this Eclipse Season 

Eclipses are a very powerful time to clearly see a habitual pattern we are stuck in. Their energy gives us the space we need for inner work and reflection while also making if very clear what needs to be removed from our lives (permanently or temporarily). If are not intentionally releasing something in our lives, circumstances outside of our control might force the removal of something for our lives.
